InPact  makes a real ImPact in your bottom line.

IMPROVE MARGINS

Implementing InPact guarantees a significant impact on your bottom line.

InPact methodology revolves around enhancing process efficiency and increase site and workshop control. Over the last five years, leveraging digital tools and Lean principles, we have evaluated every asset that constitutes the insulation process value chain. This knowledge enables us to generate standardised product catalogues, resulting in not only reduced production costs but also improved quality. However, our endeavors do not stop there; we continuously strive to optimise traceability, minimizing redundancies, searching time, and supply issues. All of these improvements contribute to enhanced profitability, increased margins, and facilitate the work of installators, project managers, and workshop operators, etc.

FREE TOOLS

Experience the simplicity and adaptability of our free and customisable digital applications and resources.

Harness the power of intelligent data analysis and customisable solutions that will take you to new levels of efficiency, productivity and profitability.

As part of the company, we have developed our digital tools free of charge and integrated into corporate Windows accounts. We offer comprehensive access management free of charge, along with ongoing development and support to ensure appropriate functionality and updates.

In addition to our digital tools, we provide training and manage the creation of standards and all elements related to the proper implementation of the methodology.

DATA TRANSPARENCY

Our solutions ensure data transparency throughout the end-to-end project, enabling easy and secure access to information for data-driven decisions and maximum efficiency.

The applications allow you to easily identify the materials required for your project, place orders based on your schedule, and access pricing and delivery information through a standard catalogue for each country.

In addition, by integrating a state-of-the-art logistics system, we can capture the information needed to accurately track the whereabouts of our materials, including which items, quantities and locations at any given time.

INCREASE CONTROL, REDUCE CLIENT DEPENDENCY

At KAEFER, we focus on delivering the best service to our clients, with quality and profitability at the forefront. We use our digital tools to address common challenges on construction sites, such as limited access to a line, changes in planning or problems with labour availability.

By standardising processes, we make it easier to train people and reduce costs. In addition, by avoiding reliance on highly personalised components or processes, our business gains greater adaptability. These combined factors reduce dependency on customers and improve the business’s ability to offer our services more competitively.

OPTIMASED WORKFLOW – REDUCING NON-VALUE ADDED ACTIVITIES

InPact focuses on process optimisation and the elimination of non-value added activities in all areas of a project, ensuring that the client receives the best possible insulation with quality and on time. As a company, we must work to facilitate these tasks throughout the process. That’s why it’s so important for installers to have the materials they need on site, which means an optimised workflow with the final pieces available where the operator is working.

The key activities are as follows:

PLANNING

The insulation report provides the project manager with a complete list of materials required and delivery dates. They can liaise with suppliers to ensure materials, tools and space are available at the right time and manage the workload throughout the project.

MEASURE

With the InPact method, you only need to measure the supports cut-outs and exotic sections of the structure. The rest of the elements can be obtained through an automated estimation called the Bill of Material (BOM ESTIMATION), which is visually presented in the insulation report. This eliminates the need for different trained people to measure each line and draw each piece required.

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

The parameterisation, standardisation, and digitalisation of processes radically change the number of necessary contacts because the requested pieces are clear, and if there are any issues, there is traceability to track the order. Furthermore, the workshop operates much more comfortably as they can create work batches and focus on production rather than extensive communication.

Before sending the order, all the parameters are defined.

PREFABRICATION

Standardising and prefabricating parts before they arrive on site saves time. This helps to reduce installation time, minimise the possibility of errors on site, reduce the potential for accidents, improve quality, reduce the price of the part by working with larger volumes and working in an environment with machinery optimised for this purpose.

PROPER STORAGE

A well-organised stock allows for effective space planning for materials, which is particularly important for insulation materials such as FOAMGLAS®. Clear labelling and classification of elements facilitates quick identification and access when needed. Workers can easily see what is in stock, eliminating duplication, waiting and searching for tools and parts.

THE ROLE OF LOGISTICS

Dedicated logistics staff have been shown to streamline the process and centralise the movement of materials both in the workshop and on site. This eliminates the need for the installer to search and move around the site for a part whose location they are unsure of.

SIMPLIFIED INSTALLATION

Our method provides simpler and easier to learn standardised installation guidelines. By using prefabricated parts rather than adapting them on site, we have optimised time on site and minimised risk and material waste.

QUALITY

By using prefabrication and optimum machinery, we improve the final quality, reduce costs and avoid on-site fabrication with its associated issues such as safety, customisation, lack of materials or tools.
